Steve Tyler (born September 21, 1963) is an American actor, model, producer and activist best known for his character as Mathew Haines in ''The Journey of Jared Price''. He is known for his diverse roles in Farrelly brothers directed films such as ''Kingpin'', ''Me, Myself & Irene'', ''There's Something About Mary'', ''Shallow Hal'' and ''Stuck on You''. His television appearances include Gino in ''Days of Our Lives'' and recurring role as the minister of Fairview in ''Desperate Housewives''. ==Early life and career== Tyler was born in Brookline, Massachusetts. He lives in Los Angeles, California where he is an active participant in the city's artistic, political and philanthropical communities.
